I have been playing soccer for MGIS as a captain since the past 5 years, and we have participated in various tournaments around the city: the Juggernaut Football League, Kaahani Times Soccer Tournament, Royal Underdogs 7 a side tournament, Rising Sun Street Soccer tournament, and the MGIS 10-10 street soccer tournament, which was organized by us itself. From what seemed to be a mere boring game on the Fuzbol table a few years ago, turned into my passion as time passed, and today it stands to be my favorite sport. MGIS has played a major role in molding into what I am. Right from the training session with Ben sir in Gujarat College, to the one’s in Shreyas foundation, I have achieved a lot thanks to them.
Recently I managed to make my place in the state team and I traveled to Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, where we participated in a tournament organized by the AIFF (All Indian Football Federation). Teams from different states of India all competed in this 7 a side tournament and there were scouts present looking out for talent. Apparently, they were impressed by my performance; and now I have been selected in the Indian 7a side team and will be going to Nepal in November to play against the teams of other Asian countries. I am thrilled and also determined to do my best.
