Sharmeen Attarwala, now part of MGIS’s elite alumni, created a series of hand painted bongo drums for her Personal Project in her MYP final year, called Art Beats.
It was selected as one of the best 50 Personal Projects from among all IB schools, and is available for viewing below.
“It was a fun, yet challenging project”, said Sharmeen about the process. “I merged two cultures on a musical instrument, by immersing myself in all of them.”
