Excellence Award 2012 for Educational Innovation

Mahatma Gandhi International School has been honored with Knowledge Development & Welfare Group Expert Panel for Excellence Award 2012 for Educational Innovation.

The seminar & award ceremony was held on 31st AUGUST, 2012 at IIT DELHI by Mr.Vinod Verma, Chairman, The European Business Group India, representing 27 member states of the European Union and also the Managing Director of Society General, Delhi, the second largest and one of the oldest Banks of France.

The Seminar was followed by an Award Ceremony in which 25 Organizations, Institutes and Schools and 19 Individuals who did notable work in Research and Innovations were felicitated out of 132 nominations received by KRDWG.

MGIS got Awarded for ‘Atwood’ ‘Math’s Express’ and ‘Periodic Table’ for Innovation in the field of pedagogy in school education and was awarded.

Ms. Minoo Joshi and Ms. Ravinder Kaur, the representatives at the seminar from MGIS, have been following the MGIS pedagogy since 13 years now. Ms. Ravinder Kaur, Initiator and IB, Diploma Program Coordinator got recognition of her innovation in the field of pedagogy in School Education for her ‘Periodic Table Project’.

MGIS has developed new dynamic approach to education that lets children rediscover the joys of learning. The pedagogy is experiential, and utilizes the body, all five senses, space and movement as well as abstract thinking. The learning process makes optimal use of human and material resources within the learner’s surroundings. MGIS also integrates new technology into the learning experience.
