Ashish Sadhu

Sports and MYP sports educator

Aashish is the sports coordinator as well as the MYP sports educator at Mahatma Gandhi International School. He joined the school in June 2022. He helps guide and prepare students for sports competitions and other projects related to sports inside and outside the school campus.

Aashish has completed his ‘C’ license from ASIAN FOOTBALL CONFEDERATION (AFC) and soon will be upgrading to ‘B’ license. He has also completed Football Analysis Certification and has a Bachelors in Commerce from Gujarat University.

He has played District, State, National and Club level football and has trained elite players who played in Gujarat State Football Team for Santosh Trophy, Gujarat University Team and YOUTH I-LEAGUE team.

He arranges fitness and football sessions and workshops throughout the year for students who are interested in fitness and sports activities. He values dedication and discipline and uses the same as governing principles for his coaching>

As a technical coach, he observes and analyzes the skillset of the kids performing different activities during the sports class and tries to explain, demonstrate and improve their techniques such as dribbling, passing, receiving, and shooting in football.

After joining MGIS, he has supported and guided the 11th and 12th Grade students in organizing sports events and has recently led the MGIS football team to secure second place in the Premier School League football tournament held at Transtadia in 2022.

He would love to do his part to expand the mission of inculcating a culture of sports and education development in the school.
