Faraha Khericha

Cambridge International Education Coordinator
Senior Faculty

Faraha embarked on her teaching journey at a remarkably young age of 18, commencing at the Activity Centre ‘Broad Horizon’. Under the tutelage of the esteemed educator Mrs. Saroj ben Carvahlo, she underwent five years of transformative training, acquiring a wealth of wisdom and experience. Naturally drawn back to her alma mater, she joined Mahatma Gandhi MGIS as a pre-primary educator, where her passion for education continued to flourish. Transitioning to primary classes, she distinguished herself as a homeroom teacher, spearheading innovative projects that were later codified into a handbook for fellow educators.

Her dedication and expertise led to rapid advancement within the institution, culminating in roles such as Pre-primary Coordinator and subsequently, Cambridge International Education Coordinator. In addition to her administrative duties, Faraha imparts knowledge in subjects like Individual and Societies in the Middle Years Programme IB (MYP) and leads the Reflective Project in Career Related Programme IB (CP).

Drawing from her rich 17-year tenure, she embarked on teacher training initiatives for Mahatma Gandhi International School (MGIS) in 2019 in collaboration with Co-creative, a responsibility she has continued to uphold through numerous subsequent sessions.

Beyond her academic achievements, Faraha holds a Master’s Degree in Mass Communication and Journalism, complemented by a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature. Her diverse interests extend to spirituality, where she has pursued courses in Pranic Healing, along with self-taught studies in Tarot reading and crystal healing, enriching both her personal and professional journey.
