Mahdi Raza, DP2 student from MGIS was awarded Gold Honour for his outstanding participation in the final round of the International Youth Math Challenge 2021. He was placed among the top 3% of all participants worldwide.
He also has secured a scholarship of approximately Rs.50,00,000 from the prestigious Waterloo University, Canada towards his undergraduate studies. This scholarship is awarded annually to 10 outstanding students in India who “demonstrate interest in Mathematics beyond standard course requirements with excellent academic performance.” Mahdi has received medals, distinction and outstanding certificates since Grade 8, for each of the Waterloo Mathematics contest conducted at MGIS.
